1) Consultant / Associate Consultant / Registrar
Responsibilities:

  • Work in a range of clinical services, including inpatient care of rehabilitation and sub-acute patients, outpatient clinics focusing on integrative care of patients with chronic disease, geriatric syndromes and rehabilitative care, and home medical care for chronic bed bound patients. Doctors with specific preference will be able to focus on inpatient, outpatient or home medical care

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate doctors in family medicine and geriatric medicine

Requirements:

  • Basic medical degree and registered to practice in Singapore
  • Postgraduate training in family medicine and geriatric medicine
  • Committed and interested in the care of older persons and those with multiple medical co-morbidities including cardiovascular, endocrine and neuro degenerative disease like cerebrovascular accidents and Parkinson’s

2) Assistant Director of Nursing
Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage the nursing resource areas in accordance to the Hospital’s vision, mission and values
  • Direct, supervise and evaluate the nursing staff to meet the goals and objectives of Nursing Department
  • Plan and implement the hospital operational and nursing policies
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop primary nursing care and align strategic objectives to transform patient care in the communities
  • Assist Director of Nursing in Nursing Manpower Planning & Development (eg nursing recruitment and retention of staffing needs, identifying relevant learning opportunities, in-service and continuing education programmes for all nursing staff)
  • Provide guidance to Nurse Managers to resolve matters arising from nursing services
  • Enforce and monitor nursing system and service quality within the nursing team
  • Participate in the research on nursing care and practices to enhance nursing services
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

  • Master in Gerontology/Health Administration/Degree in Nursing with relevant post-basic Nursing qualifications, preferably with ward administration and nursing clinical experience with minimum 8 years in leading a team
  • Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
  • Experience in coaching, counselling and manpower planning
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess effective leadership qualities and people management skills

3) Senior Nurse Manager / Nurse Manager
Responsibilities:

  • Plan and direct daily operational activities in the wards
  • Deploy and supervise nursing personnel, as well as provide in-service training for nursing and ancillary staff
  • Supervise the maintenance of nursing records, medical treatments and related services

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with relevant post-basic Nursing qualifications, preferably with ward administration and management experience
  • Able to work 2 rotating shifts

4) Staff Nurses (Inpatient)
Responsibilities:

  • Plan and provide nursing care to meet the patients’ needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patients, treatments and conditions
  • Assist in supervision of junior nurses and ancillary staff
  • Ensure availability of ward stock

Requirements:

  • Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
  • Minimum 1 year’s ward experience
  • Able to work 2 or 3 rotating shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Nurse Manager/Staff Nurse at the wards to provide competent nursing care to meet the needs of patients

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year’s ward experience
